FAQ’s – Frequently asked questions
Question 1 – Can I treat the public with the courses you provide?
Yes you can. Victoria’s courses are accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists) which means they are all up to industry standards and you will be able to provide a professional and safe treatment to the general public.
Question 2 – Can I get insurance from your courses to treat the public?
Yes you can. Victoria can provide you with details of ABT insurance where you can get a 10% discount or many insurance providers will insure you with these diplomas.
Question 3 – Do I need to have some experience within the beauty and holistic industry to enrol on the courses you provide?
It is beneficial for you to have some experience dealing with the general public when enrolling on to the Beginners Reflexology Course, but it is not essential. The other Reflexology Course for Therapists and the Aromatherapy Day Course are designed for therapists who already provide treatments/have a clinic or have an anatomy and physiology qualification.
Question 4 – I have seen other short courses at a cheaper price – why is this?
Victoria provides one to one training and small groups whereas other providers will enroll many more students so they can keep their prices low. Victoria prides herself in delivering individual, friendly and personal training in a small and comfortable surrounding for students who find big groups intimidating. This is reflected in prices.
Question 5 – I am interested in reiki but have no experience – can I still enroll?
Yes you can. Reiki is a very safe and natural therapy and the Reiki courses will provide you with all the skills and tools to help you integrate reiki into your own daily life. It is beneficial to try a reiki treatment from Victoria to help you experience the therapy. You can also come along to the Luna Glow Reiki Share group to find out more and meet Victoria.
Question 6 – Is your diploma a NVQ level 3 or equivalent?
No. NVQ courses or equivalent are a national qualification. They require you to enroll at a collage and usually last at least a year full or part time.
